UPDATES: Come to the GSG sandwich making event on Wednesday, October 5th on the CHP patio from 5-6:30! Kaitlin is hosting it as GSG HSC Director of Community Service and would love your support :)

UPDATES: Social Event with the MA1 students and Global Initiatives for World OT day/week will be on Oct. 21st starting @ 6:00pm.

- No funds will be needed, but may need name tag stickers
DISCUSSION: Suggestions on International Forum keynote speakers (OT who works in another country)--send Ken or Phil an email with possible leads

DISCUSSION: vote on a day outside of OTSC meetings for OTSC Exec Board Picture ? GSG Reps won’t be here for the next 2 meetings (11/7 and 11/28).

UPDATES:
- In contact with a few places regarding fundraising opportunities (Factory Tea Bar, Cha Cha Chili, etc.).
- 9/26 merchandise fundraiser did relatively well - Thanks to Henna for taking the post. In the process of checking out license plate frame and crew neck sweater costs from vendors. Possible submission of designs via classmates who approached with interest (due by this Friday, October 7)
- 30 Bracelets with OT and USC charms, price $20?
- If they do well, we will get more.
DISCUSSION:
- Possible inclusion of fundraising events into social events and vice versa (ex: Factory Tea Bar fundraising event as a social event).
- Idea from Hong - Thanksgiving thank-you grams (NAMI grams seemed to be doing very well) that would be a good occasion for giving thanks to friends and professors. Possibility to send outside of school (like to CIs, family) for additional cost if desired (includes envelope and postage)
- Fundraising Camaraderie event (aka talent show), Monday January 30th or Monday February 6th
- Sell a “lunch set” (i.e. Costco pizza, salad) at lunch?

DISCUSSION:
- Interdisciplinary event was a success- OT had the most registrations out of PT, OT, Pharm!
- Possibly do again, but with better interdisciplinary planning
- Will contact Dr. Bream’s contact for an event
- Social Chair (Benz & Trisha)
UPDATES:
- USC v. Arizona State Tailgate was a success. USC v. Colorado tailgate (10/8/16).
- Tailgate this Saturday will start at 8am as game starts at 1pm
- Vegas FB event page created; lock-in date is Oct 31.
