ASD Representative - Bethrese Padini and Jenna Freeman
AOTA Elections 2020 coming up - Dr. Katie Jordan and Dr. Yasi Amanat running for AOTA positions pending review - will find out in late November (Janis Yue running for a Student Representative to the Commission on Education position as well, pending review!)
Team USC got 2nd place at the AOTA/NBCOT Knowledge at AOTA Conclave! Woot woot!
Professional Development - Linda
      We have reps for both MA1 (Raffy Wagas from the Philippines) and OTD (Valentina Vera Carrasquero, former MA1 student) now!

OTSC Professional Development Panel: potentially 1st week after spring FW
-       Students (current 2nd years)
-       OTD track (clinical, research, pedagogy)
-       PhD track
-       Finding a job right after master’s
-       Delay level 2 FW
-       AOTA/OTAC conferences/events (how to network, how to make the most of the experience, scholarships)

Community through Occupation Event Idea: Event series inspired by DiversOT’s Always Running Event where students attended a dinner and play in Boyle Heights with Dr. Diaz & Dr. Delgado
      Monthly event where a group of 10-20 students connect with a faculty member through meaningful occupation! Event themes: inter-cohort mingling through co-occupation, professional development (being able to talk more candidly with professors in a more intimate setting, student wellness)
      Pilot in January with Dr. Rafeedie teaching folk dance? 
Fundraising Chairs - Daniel & Jessie
  1. Merchandise sales —> 1-2x/week leading up to last FW day and Holidays!
  2. Start marketing for yearly OTSC t-shirt contest! (i.e. flyers, emails, FaceBook, encouragement from OTSC, 2nd years)
Philanthropy Committee - Christie & Adam
Bright Horizons Event on 11/22/2019, 10am-12pm
      Goal: Integrate older adults in to younger children’s lives
      Lead: Rachel Kent
