Philanthropy	Requisition 3 five dollar gift cards for virtual shared plates event  Virtual shared plates event will be partially a share your dish night and a game night -direct questions about event to sarahjmo@usc.edu -advertising event @Sam C, we would like to broadcast on OTSC accounts starting monday with a reminder on thursday:) @Calvin can we advertise on ambassador or USC chan accounts?  -John J and Brendan may also make a promo video:)  Promo video is to make it fun and inviting!  Please encourage everyone to advertise and promote through social media outlets to reach a wider audience for the event. Events Committee - Trivia Night	OTSC x PTE Trivia Night Friday October 30th, 6:30pm OTSC collaborating with PTE Fundraising for The St. Catherine’s Challenge Nation-wide student-led fundraiser; money sent to intervention grants from AOTF; novel ideas and science of occupational therapy  Tell your friends!  Advertising will be done on Monday!
First Year Check-in with Faculty	Open meeting to provide feedback to Dr. Gray & Dr. Rafeedie  Organized by Earl & Alyssa Wed 10/21 @ 6:30pm Open meeting with first-year class Questions will be facilitated and monitored by Early and Alyssa
Advocacy & Government Committee	OTSpeaks x Global Initiatives Brown Bag Lunch with Dr. Apple Sepulveda Monday 10/19 @ noon Over 60+ RSVP’ed! This event will involve some  pre-facilitated questions around maternal health and advocacy.  Global components related to the Philippines and Los Angeles during this event. Students can submit their own questions.  This is an open forum conversation with Dr. Sepulveda! The event will be recorded and a link will be sent out after the event. Crowd-sourcing spring event/panel ideas An idea for a possible social media panel with OT influencers If you know of any OT influencers, contact Teresa and Jernell! Dr. Wilcox asked about having a PT and OT panel again to have a discussion about different scenarios from the different POVs. This event is usually done with PTE and is organized by USC, not a student group.
International Affairs	International Narratives  with Elmo Nicolas on October 21, 2020 (Wednesday) This is the first international narrative event! Tapping of other MA-1 students to share their own narratives As OTs from other countries Plan to make this a sustainable project for years to come Provide an opportunity for other parts of the world to be aware of the field!
