Update on COVID relief spending? | - @Sam Randolph, Kayla, and Sarah - Discuss with Dr. Rafeedie - Cannot use the money for the student relief fund - Unable to use it as gift cards and needs to be framed into as an event because they cannot be handed out - This is also involved with USC financial support - Disguise COVID relief payments and tie it to an event - GSG money goes to events - Possible raffle at the end of the school year to distribute the money - Example would be to have raffle at the end of the event | |
Advocacy & Government Committee | - AOTA elections finance request for help from OTSC - Plan for the organization of this is still under the works! - Possible gift card idea similar to last year where voting enters you into a raffle - Still need new ideas to incentivize people to participate - Met with Kim Kho and Mike McNulty - The Please send in ideas of how to vote through Zoom format - Potential for first year students to vote in the spring during class - Possible in-person or zoom format to provide steps of how to vote and share the resources to optimize voting experience | |
Philanthropy Committee | “Grateful Pets & People” digital cards project The goal of the Digital Card Project: Grateful Pets and People is to encourage one another via email and spread positivity during finals week. By submitting someone (students & faculty) to receive a digital card, they will receive a digital card (email) that contains a picture of one of our own OT Chan pets. Hence, the Grateful Pets and People. You are able to include in the email sent out a picture of your very own pet (dog, cat, bird, lizard etc). *All digital cards will be sent out by November 16th, prior to finals week.
