  • OTalk2US was launched on 11/4.  This will be a once a month chat on the first Sunday of each month at 4 pm EXCEPT April (where it will be once a week in honor of OT month).  I have subscribed to updates about this blog on OTSC’s behalf, as OTSC will receive emails with updates once a week.  I have also subscribed to the blog about Otalk/Occhat on OTSC’s behalf.  Next month’s topic for OTalk2US will be on sensory strategies for the holidays.  (Updates after this school year will be made by professional development chairs or anyone who desires to pick up this responsibility.)
  • OT Talk podcast by our department has launched on 10/30, which is great.  But, a concern is that because the name is super similar to Twitter groups out there that are OT-related.  So, some members of the OT community are suggesting the department to rename the podcast. (only discussion item of the list)
    • OT Trojan Talk- make into 15 minute segments to make it more manageable to listen to
  • OT Go To podcast- this is a podcast started by an OT student in University of Utah.  You can be a potential guest on this podcast by emailing Michelle Taggart
  • Play4OT and DJ4OT groups are created after the conclusion of the OT 24 hour virtual exchange.  Description will be updated on the 4OT groups Google Doc when they become available.  (Updates after this school year for the 4OT group document will be made by professional development chairs or anyone who desires to pick up this responsibility.)
