- OTAC Legislative Reception @ Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
- Date: Thursday, April 27 from 6:00-8:00 PM
- Student price: $25 - FOOD & DRINKS PROVIDED
- Deadline to register: April 23
- *Opportunity for OTs and students to advocate for the profession to legislators - super important especially with what’s going on in politics right now! We want legislators to think of OT when they pass health care bills!*
DISCUSSION:
- OTAC Spring Symposium in San Diego, CA
- USC student attendance is low
- Why? too expensive, limited advertising, not mandatory
- Possible interesting topics for OTAC Annual Conference? (i.e. assistance dogs)

- School supply drive starting next week. There will be a collection bin in entry area of CHP, as well as outside the GSG office next to Starbucks.
